Ram Furniture specialises in traditional furniture, each piece individually made by hand in thoroughly seasoned oak and other native hardwoods. Construction methods are entirely traditional.

All our furniture is designed and built to individual requirements. Designs can be made compatible (in both style and colour) with your existing furniture -integrating the old with the new.

The designs of turnings, carvings and mouldings on your existing furniture can be reproduced and incorporated into the piece you are commissioning from us.
Colour and finish are always done to your individual requirements. Ageing and distressing can be carried out on your commissioned piece if you wish it.

We also offer a restoration service, in particular for re-polishing table tops. If your table surface is looking a little worse for wear, we can restore it to its former glory, re-varnishing of staining back to the original colour. This service can be carried out for any size table from a large dining table to a small coffee table.

Ram Furniture was established in 1986 in Crich, Derbyshire, on the border of the Peak National Park.  Our ‘signature’ Derbyshire Ram is discreetly hand carved, into each piece we make as seen here.
